HRC170 headed bars

Description

The HRC170 T-head is a mechanical anchorage device attached to a reinforcement bar.

The HRC170 consists of 2 parts:

1. a fixed threaded bolt attached to the rebar
2. a loose head (circular disk with internal threads in the middle) that is screwed onto the threaded bolt. The loose circular head can be removed and screwed back on to the threaded bolt under installation.

This flexible mechanical T-head can be installed in tight openings on the building site, making it suitable for retrofit work or in areas where bars need to be inserted through dense reinforcement – a real problem solver.

The HRC170 T-head develops the full actual strength and strain of the rebar in the anchorage head alone (without additional bond).

HRC170 is covered by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).

HRC170 for 20mm rebar is certified acc. ISO 15698 for category B3 (ultimate capacity). Currently, HRC170 is only available for rebar size 20mm as a stock item. For other sizes please contact HRC Europe.

Tailormade products:

It is possible to combine HRC170 headed bars with other HRC components like HRC400 rebar couplers or the HRC700 cast-in-connections. HRC also has the possibility to deliver HRC170 T-headed reinforcement bars with a 90-degree bend or 180 hook in the other end. Or as reinforcement bars with a HRC170 T-head in both ends.
